Portrait of an Artist contestants
I was daydreaming about this idea. How cool would it be if those of us who entered this contest were able to put our monologues into a workable stage play. We would need at least 5 but probably not more than 10.
How could we coordinate it?
How could we coordinate it?
I think that would be a great idea since it is only 10 pages. Five vignettes would be intriguing and would be about 50 minutes of stage play. Unless we all wrote about the same artists. I believe Moondance is still accepting stageplay submissions for the festival this year.
My entry was staged in an Art Museum.
Hey writers, I'd like to bring this idea up again. I had someone recently talk to me about publishing the Portrait of An Artist stage plays. Anyone else still interested?
I have just joined Scripped.com today. Your topic title is the first to catch my attention. I wish you luck with your project. One, I'm an artist, specialising in watercolours. Two, I am a novice animator recently learning to use animation softwares. Three, I was formerly a portraitist. I ceased portraiture as I hated it: it just wasn't my cup of tea.
